Director, Office of Health Transformation
Governor John Kasich appointed Greg Moody as Director of the Ohio Office of Health Transformation in January 2011, which leads the state’s efforts to modernize Medicaid, stream- line health and human services programs, and improve overall health system performance. He began his public service career as a budget associate for the U.S. House Budget Committee. The Budget Chairman at the time, Representative John Kasich, asked Moody to study the impact of Medicaid on federal spending—an assignment that set the course for his public policy career. Moody has a master’s degree in Philosophy from George Washington University and bachelor’s degree in Economics from Miami University.
