President, Oberlin College
Marvin Krislov became the 14th President of Oberlin College in 2007. Under his leadership, Oberlin College and Conservatory entered a new era of environmental action and sustainability. With the launch of The Oberlin Project, an innovative collaboration between the city, college, and public schools to support an environmentally sustainable community, the aim has been to promote economic development and education. President Krislov earned a bachelor’s degree at Yale University in 1982, and was named a Rhodes Scholar. He earned master’s degrees at Oxford University and Yale, and a Juris Doctorate degree at Yale Law School in 1988.
