Jim Siegel

A newspaper reporter for 23 years, Jim Siegel has spent the last 19 of those covering state government for Gannett Newspapers, the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Columbus Dispatch. Since joining the Dispatch in 2005, he has focused on the policy and politics of the Ohio General Assembly, including elections and the last seven state budgets. His work has been recognized by the Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists and the Cleveland Press Club. He is a native of the Youngstown area and a graduate of West Liberty University.
