Asim Haque

Haque was appointed to the PUCO by Governor John R. Kasich in 2013 and reappointed in 2016. He has testified before members of the Ohio General Assembly, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and has educated regulators abroad through partnerships with the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of Energy. Haque serves on the executive committee of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, the board of directors where he is the Vice-Chair of the Task Force on Environmental Regulation and Generation, the Electricity Committee and the Critical Infrastructure Committee.
