Amista Lipot

Amista Naylor Lipot has been with the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at Ohio University since 2003. In addition to establishing and cultivating critical partnerships, her portfolio includes strategic communications, development, alumni relations, advocacy, and special projects. As part of the school’s commitment to the region and state, she also serves as Executive Director for the Mayors’ Partnership for Progress.  The partnership is a bipartisan coalition of Mayors and City Managers from eighteen southeast Ohio counties, representing nearly 120 communities and almost 800,000 constituents. Before joining the Voinovich School, Amista managed administrators throughout Ohio for an international consulting and software company. Amista has a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio University.
