Jim Kinnick

Jim Kinnick serves as the Executive Director at Eastgate Regional Council of Governments. Eastgate serves as both a council of governments and a metropolitan planning organization, and also is the areawide water-quality management agency for Mahoning and Trumbull counties. Prior to this position, Jim spent 30 years with the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 4 office, ending his career as the planning and design administrator overseeing an annual construction program of more than $300 million. In January of 2019, Jim Kinnick was appointed to serve on the DriveOhio Government Advisory Board by outgoing Ohio Governor John Kasich. He lives in Austintown. Jim Earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University.
