Retired firefighter running for Dayton mayor | WRGT

Rennes Bowers is running to be the next mayor of Dayton.  In 2019 he retired from the Dayton Fire Department after a 30 year career.  He is former chaplain for the Dayton Dragons where he spent 19 years.  Chief Bowers founded and co-leads a co-op that cares for 5,000+ Indian orphans.  He and his wife of 36 year, Julie, have 6 children and 9 grandchildren.
