Representative Ryan Smith

State Representative Ryan Smith is serving his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives and was elected by his colleagues to serve as the 103rd Speaker of the House. Since 2012, he has represented the citizens of the 93rd House District in southeastern Ohio. Prior to being elected Speaker, Smith served three years as Chairman of the House Finance Committee and was tasked with managing the state operating and capital budgets. Smith is a graduate of The Ohio State University and resides in Gallia County with his wife Vicki and four children.
