The 2019 Impact Ohio Canton Regional Conference is on Thursday, December 12 at Stark State College from 11:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The conference will offer attendees the opportunity to hear first-hand from elected officials, business leaders, and local experts on issues important to the community.
The first panel of the day, “Effective Economic Development and Strengthening the Regional Economy,” will begin at 12:30 p.m. Solutions to economic challenges are complex. This session will explore some of the various economic development tools useful for economic progress and how entities can work together to usher in a new era of innovative growth opportunities for the region. Panelists will delve into programs like Strengthening Stark, which focuses on transforming Stark County into a larger and more prosperous community.
