Youngstown Mayor Tito Brown and Chamber CEO James Dignan to Offer Conference Welcome

The Impact Ohio Youngstown/Warren Regional Conference is on Thursday, September 12 at 11:00 at Stambaugh Auditorium. The Conference Welcome at 11:45 will include remarks from Jennifer Flatter, Chief Executive Officer, Impact Ohio, James Dignan, President & CEO, Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, and The Honorable Jamael Tito Brown, Mayor of Youngstown.

Dignan oversees the operational functions for the Chamber and initiates, leads and facilitates the overall strategic plan of economic development and member services issues and promotes the Chamber’s image throughout the service region. Dignan served as commander of the 910th Airlift Wing at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station from March 2013 to October 2016. In addition, he served on the Regional Chamber’s Board of Directors in 2015 and 2016 and was instrumental in the creation of its Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission.

Mayor Brown was elected the 51st Mayor of the City of Youngstown on November 7th, 2017. Formerly the Chief Deputy Treasurer of the Mahoning County Treasurer’s office, Mayor Brown has also served as the Director of the Human Relations Commission for the City of Youngstown. His community involvement includes positions on the Board of Directors for Mahoning Valley Sanitation District, as Secretary of Wick Neighbors Inc., and as Chairman of Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partners (MYCAP). Mayor Brown previously served the residents of Youngstown as President of Council, as 3rd Ward City Councilman, and as a Member of the Youngstown City School Board.
